Sea Creatures and Birds in the sky

GENESIS: 1: 20-23  “And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky. So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth. And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.”

Aren’t you glad God created some really cool animals? God created horses, dogs, birds, lions, lambs, elephants, whales, dolphins and so much more.

We can go to an aquarium and admire all the animals of the sea or we can go to the zoo and see some very interesting and scary animals looking back at us from cages.

God also made birds with beautiful colours – The Rainbow Lorikeet is a very colourful parrot that stands out from all the other parrots. It has the colour of the rainbow – blue, green, orange , yellow, red –

God was very creative when he made the animals.

He also made large, large animals of the sea like the blue whales. Did you know that these whales weigh more than 130,000 kg1! They also grow longer than 30 meters! That’s longer than 3 buses and

The largest animals to have ever lived on Earth, blue whales can grow to over 30m long and weigh more than 130,000kg – that’s longer than three buses and heavier than 3 huge trucks!! WOW. Plus their tongue weighs as much as an elephant – Can you believe that? AND you know what else? Their heart is as big as a car!  Blue whales are definitely very impressive. I love how God made things interesting so that we could enjoy our world.
